Welcome to the official site of the Department of International Economic Relations of the  Belarusian State Economic University. 

The Department was founded not long ago and is well-known and prestigious. The speciality, the department provides its students with, is International Economics and International Economic Relations (Economics and Foreign Economic Activity Management).

The department was the first in Belarus to provide education in this sphere. When founding the department the experience of such leading educational establishments of the former USSR as Moscow State International Relations Institute, the Foreign Trade Academy, the Diplomacy Academy was taken into account.

It is no exaggeration to assert that today the department is the leader in Belarus in training experts in the field of international economic relations. Highly experienced teachers and professors work at the department. Many of them have participated in special training programmes in the major educational centres of Western Europe and the CIS. Foreign visiting lecturers are also actively involved in the educational process at the department.

There is the francophone division where economic disciplines are taught in French by native-speaking professors. Besides the BSEU graduates of the division have a chance to get a diploma from the University Paris-1 Pantheon Sorbonne.
